moving day

today was moving (out) day! we woke up and sprung into action... packing up the last linens and randoms laying around. my mom and i took the kids out to get bagels and returned to the 24' moving truck backed into our driveway. the movers were AMAZING. best money i ever spent (and not even that expensive)! they stretch-wrapped and padded the furniture and were so efficient it was incredible. for those of you who are aware of my total addiction to multi-tasking, you can imagine my delight watching all this going on around me. efficiency at it's finest!!!! ;)

my mom and i left with the kids at 9 this morning and got in at 3 - the kids were great and i was SO thankful to have my mom there to entertain them while i drove.

andy and his dad handled the movers and all the details and took off driving the truck at noon - made great time and got in around 6:30. we are both really relieved and grateful we made it safely (especially w/ some weather scares). a special thanks to my mom and andy's dad for being there to help us - we couldn't have done it without you!

tomorrow is a full moving (in) day. we are staying at our parents' tonight. we are looking forward to our first night in our new home :)
