it blows my mind that tatem will be ONE just a month from today. her newest tricks are: clapping, waving, saying "no-no", standing alone and balancing for a few minutes before slowly lowering herself to the ground, dancing whenever she hears music, signing "more" and "all done", crawling around with something hanging out of her mouth like a doggy, and many more...
our favorite new thing that she does is when we say "how big is tatem?!!", she raises her arms with a huge grin on her face and we all sing "SOOOOO big!!". it's adorable - now she will just look at us and raise her arms which means she wants us to play that little "game" with her.

tatem loves her big brother - they are so cute together. i love to watch this bond between them grow. wes started calling her "the bay-pay" (his rendition of "the baby")... then it turned into "pay-pay" and now he just calls her "papes"(pronounced "pay-ps"). not sure why, but amongst her other nicknames (tee-tee, tay-tay, sweet t, chicky-choo, miss moo, etc), papes has stuck.
papes and wez:
tatem weighs appx 20 lbs, wears 12-18 mos clothes and is nursing ~4x a day. she is taking two naps a day, and is f i n a l l y sleeping well at night (knock on wood)! she is sleeping appx 7ish pm to 6ish am, give or take, and i couldn't be more thrilled about it! neither could she! she wakes up happy and refreshed and we are all just stoked about it :)
this girls is sweet, smart, full of personality and we love her to pieces.
